The growth in the number of cars in Germany has contributed to the transformation of B.V. into a large fuel company. Employee of the firm chemist Walter Oswald invented a new kind of gasoline from a mixture of benzene and gasoline. Benzene belongs to the group of Aromatic organic compounds, and gasoline - to Alifatic. Oswald, as an inventor, came up with the name of the new fuel, taking two letters from the words ARomata - Alifate - ARAL. This is how the new type of gasoline was called B.V.-Aral

History

Since 1929, lubricants have appeared in the range of products offered by B.V.

History

1939

History

1952

Firm B.V. reorganized into B.V.-Aral. For the first time, the word Aral appears on a company logo. In the 1950s, Aral BV-Oil and especially BV-Oil Special engine oils were the foremost products of the highest quality. In those days, the term "additives" already appeared, which Aral used for the so-called "structural-mechanical improvement". Already in those days, these oils could be used year-round as all-season

Presentation of Aral SuperTronic - a fully synthetic motor oil for high-tech engines. Then it had the viscosity of the SAE 5W-50. Meanwhile, with the unification of Germany, Aral opens the first gas stations in the eastern lands (formerLY GDR) and rushes to new markets of the so-called countries of the former socialist camp.

History

1996

Presentation of the fully synthetic Aral SuperTronic 0W-40 engine oil with a pronounced fuel economy effect. This oil, the formula of which subsequently changed with the introduction of Euro IV standards, still remains the flagship of the Tronic series - the Aral line of synthetic oils for passenger cars.
